No, I’m not working for the New York Times (don’t I wish!), but I just read a credible, practical and useful article in NYT written by two geneticists that explain coronavirus (COVID-19) transmission in easily understood layman’s terms. Speaking for myself, I’m totally open to useful advice these days!

  2. Makes total sense: more exposure, the greater the risk.

Yes, I thought the easy to understand explanations of the two geneticists demystified some of the advice about virus transmission. Take good care.

  4. Stay safe and healthy. Wear a mask or cover your face when going out…this is my best advise. LOL

    1. Yes, I do, but the going out part is very rare now. It’s only allowed here on one day per week based on national ID digits. Wishing you good health as well!

  6. This is a good article. This seems to suggest very small doses help build immunity, as is with case with cold viruses. I have been very healthy so far although I am certain I have been exposed (I spent 2 hours in Mid-March at SFO in a small room waiting to get through immigration with 200 people arriving from Europe, surely an infection soup). Well, maybe I am not certain of anything any more! Keep writing Henry.

    1. Hi Kim,

Yes, there are still lots of uncertainties concerning the transmission of COVID-19. I just found this article to be helpful in explaining viral dose. Glad to hear you’re still healthy!
